Mission Statement
To accelerate innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation across Sub-Saharan francophone Africa by connecting startups, investors, and public institutions through a major international trade show focused on emerging ecosystems and high-impact sectors.
With a core focus on five high-impact sectors including fintech, edtech, medtech, agritech, and insurtech, the summit creates an environment for practical collaboration, deal-making, and knowledge exchange. The event highlights six fast-growing innovation ecosystems: Dakar, Abidjan, Douala, Kinshasa, Lomé, and Cotonou, which serve as gateways for regional and international investments.
The mission is built on three core priorities:
- Promote partnerships between startups, governments, and the private sector to unlock capital, mentorships, and global visibility.
- Enhance technical and leadership capabilities through workshops, expert panels, and applied learning opportunities.
- Deliver measurable outcomes in investment mobilization, policy reform, and infrastructure development.
Success will be measured by the number of strategic partnerships formed, investment deals facilitated, policy engagements initiated, and long-term collaborations sustained after each edition of the summit. Afritech Business Summit is committed to being a driving force for lasting digital innovation and inclusive economic development in the region.
